Pop Up Dinner PartyMarch 31, 2012 a secret Dinner Party, organzied by PB&J to benefit Sustainable Springfield and RAP, "popped up" under the Fuller Warren Bridge on the River. There were 350-400 guests. The details of where and what time were revealed an hour before dinner. Everyone set up under the bridge, along the river for a fabulous potluck vegetarian feast. All the money raised will be used for a Riverside/Avondale Community Garden that Sustainable Springfield will manage and help build. At the end of dinner, there was a rainbow over the river and a fabulous drum circle and dancing.
It was a great event and Sustainable Springfield is very appreciative of all the support! Table Leaders, who were in charge of inviting 10 guests to their table, arrived at 5 and began set up before their guests arrived at 6pm. Everyone was asked to wear white.
The downtown skyline was our view and there was a beautiful rainbow as the sun was setting
