Riverside Avondale Community Garden

Sustainable Springfield is proud to work with Riverside Avondale Preservation (RAP) to build and manage a community garden in Historic Riverside Avondale.  Right now, we are working on a layoutfor the garden.   Initially there will be 20 plots in the Peace Rose Garden.  The garden will be fenced with roses planted along the exterior to compliment the original intent of the Rose Garden.

If you would like to donate to the construction of the garden, please donate below.   (If for some reason the Riverside Avondale Community Garden does not materialize, the  funds will go to support a community garden in the urban core area).
